Dec. 20 Deadline for Copper Wire Recycling- Yellow Fish Road Project

Yellow Fish Road Project- Copper Wire recycling: The deadline is approaching for copper wire recycling donations! Donations need to be brought to the school by Wednesday December 20 as Bare wire recycling is coming to pick up on the morning of December 21.

The project: The grade 2 classes are collecting the items for their Conservation Champions project that they will be presenting at the Zoo in May.  The money raised will be used to buy supplies needed to teach the Auburn Bay community about the Yellow Fish Roads program.

We will be collecting items from Dec. 1-20.  The bins will be weighed and the class with the most will win a pizza party for their class in the New Year!

Please consult the list of items to ensure you are bringing appropriate items for this project. We are unable to accept things like car batteries or paint cans. These items can be taken to a local fire station for safe disposal.
