One way parents/guardians can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on our school’s parent society. Parent societies are a formal group of parents, incorporated under the Societies Act for the purpose of raising funds for the school. A society is a separate legal entity from the school council. More information can be found in our CBE Administrative Regulation 5001 – School Councils and School/Parent Societies.

Who are we?….A fun, welcoming and dedicated group of parent volunteers, committed to enhancing the student experience here at Bayside School.

What we do…

We work in conjunction with the teachers, principal, parents and greater school community to raise funds through various fundraising endeavours, along with supporting the school through volunteering. We love to create FUN! This year we started the Snack Shack for the students, we had our first school dance and we have provided lots of treats for our students throughout the year!

How can you help… Volunteer! Come to Council Meetings! Show your support by using your skills to help us create a wonderful experience with our students!

About Our Parent Society

Bayside School Fundraising Association was formed in January 2023 in our school's first year of operation. The BSFA is a fun group of super dedicated and supportive parents that raises funds to make the learning at Bayside School spectacular! Examples of programs and projects supported by the BSFA include:

- Building a new playground in 2023

- Supplementing the cost of field trips and special programs in the school

- Purchasing books for our library and classrooms

- Supporting school community celebrations

And so much more!
