First Day of Classes
Our first day of classes is Monday August 31, 2026 and the school office is open to parents on August 24, 2026.
August Office Hours
August 24 9:00 AM-2:00 PM
August 25 9:00 AM-2:00 PM
Regular Office Hours (Beginning August 26)
7:30 AM-3:00 PM Monday -Thursday
7:30 AM-1:00 PM Friday
On August 31 and September 1 we will have a staggered entry for Kindergarten Students ONLY with half of the Kindergarten students attending each day as follows:
**Morning Kindergarten students will attend either
Monday August 31 8:00-10:49 AM
or Tuesday September 1 8:-00- 10:49 AM
**Afternoon Kindergarten students will attend either
Monday August 31 11:39 AM-2:30 PM or
Tuesday September 1 11:39 AM-2:30 PM
**Parents of Kindergarten students will receive an email near the end of June to let them know which day their child will attend. We will send a reminder email near the end of August as well.
Assigned Teachers
Parents will receive an email by end of day on Thursday August 27 from your child's teacher, welcoming your child to their classroom. Teachers will introduce themselves, share information about the first day of school, and let you know how to get in touch with them.

Kindergarten
August 31 & September 1 we will have a staggered entry for Kindergarten Students ONLY with half of the Kindergarten students attending each day. Kindergarten Parents will receive an email in June regarding which day and times their child will attend.
Lunch Supervision
Bayside school offers a 4 day lunch program, Monday-Thursday. Lunch supervision will begin on Monday August 31, 2026. More information on our Lunch Supervision page.

Fees & Waivers
Fees will be charged to your MyCBE account beginning in October.
Transportation
Yellow School Bus Transportation
Yellow School Bus service is offered to families who live in Mahogany and attend Bayside School. See the Transportation page for more information.
Parking
- We strongly recommend giving yourself extra time and parking a short distance from the school to avoid congestion at pick-up and drop-off. - Please do not use our staff parking lot for student drop-off. - There is NO PARKING in the bus zone

School Supplies
Please do not purchase learning supplies for your child. Your child's teacher will have everything they need for the year.
Please ensure your child brings:
- indoor shoes (to keep at school)
- a backpack
- a recess snack and lunch (if staying for lunch)
- a water bottle

Off-Site Activities
