Our grade 5 students will be opening up the Snack Shack on Friday May 10 and Friday June 7. It was so successful in April that they were able to raise all of the funds needed to support the grade 5 year-end celebration. This time around, we will be raising funds to support our Bayside School Fundraising Association and will also be making a donation of a portion of the funds to the Mustard Seed. 
 

This year, our grade 5 classes will all have the unique experience of going to SEED school where they are learning about the important services the Mustard SEED provides to the Calgary community to help eliminate homelessness and to reduce poverty. Our grade 5s have been exploring "the ripple effect" through the year and are excited to make a difference in this way.

Snack Shack details:

To ensure there is enough time for all classes to visit, the Snack Shack will be open to certain grades on certain days:

         May 10: Kindergarten, grade 1 and grade 2 classes

          June 7: Kindergarten, grade 3, grade 4, grade 5

All sales will be cash only. Students will be limited to purchasing a maximum of 2 different items and we ask that parents send a small amount of cash with your child (no more than $5) to ensure we are able to make change easily and also to minimize the risk of loss. Items for purchase will include:

Bear Paws $1.50

Granola Bars (chocolate Caramel) $1.00

Rice Krispies $1.00

Applesauce $1.00

Goldfish $1.00
