Happy Friday Bayside!
Thanksgiving Weekend is upon us and there is much to be grateful for at Bayside. Staff, students, and volunteers participated in the Terry Fox run this morning and we had perfect, sunny and cool weather. Our students have been stopping me in the hallway to ask if I will be riding a tricycle soon… our school has set a goal to raise at least $1200 for the Terry Fox Foundation. If we do, Ms. Prestayko and I will be having a tricycle race! We will have an update for you next week once we have a grand total. A big thank you to the Bayside School Fundraising Association and Superstore for the oranges our students enjoyed after the run. It was the perfect refreshing treat after their hard work! Community events like this remind me of how grateful I am for our amazing staff, wonderful students, and supportive parent (and grandparent!) community.

Demographic Forms: Please remember that all demographic forms are now past due. Please take time to complete these as this is very important information for us to have at the school to be able to best support your children. You can find your forms through accessing your MyCBE account.
Traffic and Pedestrian Safety: Thank you to our community for the care you show in driving safely and watching out for our students and families as they walk to and from school. Auburn Springs Blvd continues to be a busy road with traffic that is often moving faster than feels safe for those who cross to reach our school. Visit here for school zone traffic safety tips.
