Happy Friday Bayside!
Wow! We had an amazing week of spring concerts. So many thank yous:
- Thank you to our parents (and families) who made the time to come watch your children perform. We were so sorry not to be able to offer evening performances and we appreciate the extra effort many of you made to be able to come during the work day… And thank you for taking off your shoes, our floors remain relatively clean and dry:)
- Thank you to Ms. McCune and our classroom teachers for helping our students prepare and practice and for recording our many, many readers for the video. I was struck by how much our students seemed to enjoy their performances. They just sparkled with excitement. Thank you for helping our students to develop not just skills, but a love of music.
- Thank you to Ms. Cassan, our gym teacher, and to Topp Kids for making the gym available all week for practices and performances. Topp Kids was so flexible, using the library in the morning and half the gym after school all week. Ms. Cassan was a SUPERSTAR, playing fun outdoor activities for Phys. Ed in all kinds of weather.
- Thank you to Griffith Woods School for lending us your instruments
- Thank you to our wonderful students for all of your hard work and for being brave and beautiful in your performances!

Parent-Teacher Conferences: All CBE Parent Teacher conferences will be held online in Microsoft Teams. Teachers will be sharing student work with you prior to your conference to help facilitate the conversation. Online booking is open for parents through MyCBE. We look forward to meeting with you regarding students’ learning and progress.
Due to conferences taking place online, Scholastic Book Fair is cancelled.
Lost and Found: Is your child missing something? Please remind them to check the lost and found this week. Classes will be touring the lost and found to try to reunite students with their belongings. If you are aware of a particular item (e.g. a missing winter coat) please email your child’s teacher so they can help to look.
