Happy Friday Bayside!
This week I was reminded of the value our School Council and Fundraising Association bring to our school. They successfully completed a casino fundraiser on June 8 and 9 which will bring upwards of $75000 to our school to support and enhance student learning and the learning environment at Bayside. On Tuesday, we had our final School Council and BSFA meeting and we were excited to welcome new members to the team! Our students and staff enjoyed a fun and delicious icy treat from Kona Ice on Thursday which was organized and purchase by BSFA, and we will be enjoying a pancake breakfast on June 20 for our Stampede-themed sports day (also funded and organized by BSFA). Today, the Snack Shack was busy with parent volunteers and grade 5 students running the Snack Shack for our grade 1 and 2 students. Thank you to our School Council and BSFA members for all you do to support our school community!
