We have a New Website!: Bayside’s new Website is set to Launch on Thursday February 15, 2024. Please note that the url has been changed so please update your browser. Our new site is https://bayside.cbe.ab.ca
Getting started on the bus: Parents are reminded to please contact the school when you are planning for your child to begin riding the bus. This will allow us to support your child in having a smooth transition to the bus on their first day and beyond. Please email your child’s teacher and bayside@cbe.ab.ca or call us at 403-817-3436 to let us know your child’s name, the date they will start riding the bus, and if they will be riding the bus both in the morning and after school. Thank you!
Wear Pink!: Pink Shirt Day is coming up on Wednesday February 28 and we have an exciting assembly planned with a special performance by one of our grade 4 students and his band, “The Hulagens”. Pink Shirt Day is recognized each year to highlight the importance of standing up to bullying and creating safe and welcoming spaces for all. This year’s theme is “lift each other up”. Due to limited capacity in our gym, this will be an assembly for students and staff only.
Reminders from School Council and BSFA: Our February Meeting will be on Tuesday February 20 at 5:00 PM, followed by a special parent presentation at 6:30 PM from Calgary Police about Internet Safety. If you wish to attend the Internet safety presentation, please click the link below to sign up:

The deadline for registration is Friday February 15 so that we can plan for light refreshments.
